Blackburn Media Inc. is looking for a passionate and dedicated journalist to work in our Chatham-Kent newsroom.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to, managing assignments for reporters, desk and field reporting, creating content for CKNewsToday.ca and on-air newscasts, newscasting on CFCO, CKUE, and CKSY radio, and social media sharing.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A diploma or degree in journalism from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Exceptional news judgement
  • An ability to write clear and concise news stories for both on-air and online presentations
  • A strong work ethic
  • A critical mind and a willingness to dig for a story
  • A valid Class G driver’s license
