Blackburn Media is seeking a relationship-driven Media Advertising Executive for our Wingham Branch Sales Team, serving Grey, Bruce, Huron, Perth, and Wellington Counties. Through our radio stations (101.7 The One, CoOL 94.5, CKNX AM 920) and digital division (Brand One Digital), we provide tailored advertising solutions to help local businesses grow.

No prior advertising experience is required—we provide full training. We are looking for someone proactive who excels at asking questions and building long-term business relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain client relationships with local business decision-makers.
  • Identify new opportunities through in-person meetings, networking, and prospecting.
  • Assess client goals and present customized radio and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage an existing portfolio while meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, production, and digital teams to execute and monitor campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, assist with account management/receivables, and represent Blackburn Media at local events.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • An outgoing, self-motivated relationship builder with strong communication skills.
  • An organized, goal-oriented, and dependable individual who takes initiative.
  • Eager to learn media sales and digital strategies; background in customer service, retail, or business development is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regionally for client meetings.
